Ashley and I took the photos in this promotional video, with Joe Thomas (Brown's Pro Bowl right tackle) doing the voice over! How cool is that?

Speaking of cool. A Crucial Catch is a great event partnering the Browns and The American Cancer Society to raise money to fight breast cancer. The people in the gray T-Shirts are survivors and their families. They made the "gauntlet" the players ran through before the game. Awesome.

Dan and Carrie had a beautiful day for an awesome wedding. We started wedding photography at Jackson Friend's Church and hung out there for the ceremony as well. The huge windows behind the altar sure made for some dramatic wedding photographs!

The light was perfect as we hopped in golf carts at Chenowith Golf Club to cruise out to a location for outdoor wedding photography. Despite being bombed by an errant tee shot (splashed down about 15 feet away...), the portraits of the bridal party and the bride and groom are awesome!

These are some great area locations if you are looking for an Akron Wedding Photographer. Make sure and take a sneak peek at their Wedding Fusion Video, and a few of their wedding photographs too.

PS  I LOVE the way the panoramic wedding photograph by the pond ended up. I stitched together about six or seven separate photos to create the image. Always looking for new techniques, and I'm totally stoked about this one!

PPS After meeting with the bride, we discovered her mom attends church with my mother and father! Small world...I'm thinking about writing a book called "The Six Degrees of Abby", my mom know everyone!

Ashley and I have a toddler, and another baby on the way. We have a mortgage, car payments, and a myriad of bills. It's easy to become so distracted by our responsibilities that we barely notice life as it passes us by. Sound familiar?

You are probably wondering; Hey, Negative Ned, where are you going with this? Well, a couple of weekends ago we went up to North Olmsted to check out a few of my nephew Alex's soccer games. Not surprisingly, I brought along my camera for some action shots. We had a great time at the game and I was truly impressed by the intensity with which the boys played their games. It wasn't until I got home and viewed the photos that I really grasped what we had seen. These are nine or ten year old boys faces showed how passionate they are about the game of soccer. It was just a meaningless game, but they left every bit of energy they had out on that field.

When was the last time, as adults, we cared that much about anything? I don't know about you, but I'm going to make an effort at viewing life more like a ten year old soccer player. Full of energy and passion for the game.

Check out the photos in the show, and tell me you aren't at least a little inspired!

PS  It was wicked hot at that game, and Tommy wore out his cousin Ben playing soccer too. Their savior was a snocone. What's your favorite summer treat? Share it on our Facebook page!

Scott and Erin wanted an intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. You can see clearly in their wedding photography that is precisely what became reality on their wedding day.

Every detail had a personal touch, from the ceremony at Erin's parent's yard, to the reception at Erin and Scott's house, to the 1948 Ford that was Scott's grandfathers, to the wedding photographs at the Popcorn Shop in Chagrin Falls (their fav spot for ice cream).

It was awesome to be welcomed by the whole family and a real treat to be a part of their wedding day! Check out the fusion video, as well as some of their wedding photography!

PS     Pay special attention to the photo of Scott posed in front of the '48 Ford. It's the same pose as a photo he has of his grandfather when he bought the car!

PPS   The weather took pity on us and stayed comfortable, which is great since the whole wedding day was outside! We've been grilling out non-stop to try and beat the heat at the Smas house. How do you beat the heat? Let us know on our Facebook page...thanks!
